I love hearing my poetry spoken aloud, it tends to bring something completely different, especially when it’s not me speaking but someone else, as they put their own interpretation and impression on the delivery.

I am not arrogant enough to think everyone will enjoy my poetry, whether it’s the subject matter or how it is written, or in fact that it is poetry at all, but I welcome any reaction I get from it, as that is my aim; to get people listening, talking, and appreciating the written and spoken (or sung!) word.
